Hello

I’m Ari Morrison, a Magna Cum Laude Statistics graduate and private tutor with over four years of teaching experience.

I understand how the SAT thinks.

My background in statistics trained me to look for structure, patterns, and shortcuts, the hidden skills needed to ace the SAT.

I don’t believe in overwhelming students with formulas or gimmicks. I believe in teaching them how to slow down, recognize what’s actually being tested, and avoid the traps the SAT loves to set.

My remote tutoring setup allows me to work with students anywhere and tailor every session precisely to what they need.

My Approach

The SAT tests simple concepts in unorthodox ways.

Instead of asking students to memorize dozens of formulas or grammar rules, I teach them to ask two questions on every problem:

  1. What concept is being tested?

  2. How is the test trying to disguise or trick me?

Once students learn to spot those patterns, the SAT stops feeling random. Questions become familiar. Mistakes become fixable.

Remote Setup + Flexibility

Teaching remotely allows me to have more flexibility in my schedule, which is great for me AND my students.

PSA: If you're thinking "I don't learn well online", you are NOT alone. I have had many parents and students say this to me during a consultation, and they are glad they gave it a shot.
